TANNAT 26 SUMMER CAMPAIGN
WHITE HEAT
A lagoon-blue stone, A carmine body of a car, A sunset. At the port of Thessaloniki, ruins bearing the weight of millennia rest beside sun-scorched concrete — time layered, not divided. Boat lights tremble on the water; from atar, other cities return our gaze, their amber eyes unblinking. The next day, a road without curve or hesitation. Greek music — now ancestral, now adrift in the present — threads through a rocky passage, then opens into plains wide, pale, and quietly infinite, washed in relentless light. Across the fields, hands — full, sun-warmed, shaped by the patience of labour — keep time with an old clock's steady pulse: a rhythm that steadies, that consoles. They gather violet flowers, their hearts burning red, with the ease of breath, as if this, too, were instinct. These pages lean toward them in quiet tribute. They are the unseen pulse of the pertume. Through their hands, their quiet knowing, this story takes format once scent and memory, human, and held in air.
